The Feminist Demography Collective will organize both online and in-person events to build a community of feminist researchers that trains demographers to be better mentors, teachers, and scholars. We held our first event at PAA 2025 as a member-initiated meeting.

The workshop’s format includes a methodology workshop (led by our sister org FemQuant!), flash talk presentations, a moderated panel discussion, and a social hour to connect with fellow feminist demography colleagues. We invite flash talk submissions of work at any stage, and especially encourage early-career scholars to submit their research.
